Lola began her burlesque career four years ago in the glamour capitol of the world Los Angeles. Her award winning performances and well-known audience affinity has made her an obvious headlining act. She has headlined stages across the globe from Australia to the US and throughout Europe. It is, however, Lola’s feminist ideals and commitment to empowering other women through burlesque that have helped her gain her true international support.
In a world where popular culture is dominated by plastic pop stars, Lola LaBelle’s naturally beautiful, intoxicatingly sensual, and deeply feminist burlesque offers more than just a breath of fresh air, it promises a revolution.
Co-Director for The House of Burlesque Ltd, one of the UK's premiere burlesque production companies, Lola has won multiple awards for her shows and performances including the Edinburgh sell out sensation "Circus Burlesque" (forthcoming UK Theatre tour), the crtically acclaimed "Shipwrecked" (2nd Friday of every month at the infamous Madame JoJo's) and the hugely popular "Burlesque Idol" (Last Friday of every month at Madame JoJo's). The House of Burlesque Ltd also runs a successful academy, and is currently developing their own eargerly anticipated range of lingerie, costumes and accessories.
