The planning has begun, are you ready for Halloween 2013 ! ?

Magique Halloween Circus is now in it’s 4th year, and this is our 5th year hosting halloween events. Our first party a sold out Harbour Cruise in 2009. This year seems to be flying by already and we have already started planning the 2013 event.

The effort guests put into their costumes is really what sets aside Magique from other Halloween parties in Sydney. Making it compulsory to dress up is a benefit too, it attracts a great crowd of friendly party goers.

This year Magique Halloween Circus will Not be hosted at Luna Park Sydney, The Big top – and we have a new venue for you… time for a change with something slightly different.

Gangnam Style / Thriller – Batman vs Zombies

so Korean Pop star sensation PSY arrived in Sydney This week and with him, and also Halloween just around the corner we teamed up with Dope Source Media to create a fun, random viral video.

Kien Luu from Dope Source Media shot & edited the Video and myself (James Patrick) came up with the concept. Make up to zombify our actors was supplied by Janet Yong & Estefania who did a great job in such short time provided. The whole video was strung together in 24 hours with the fast release being important.

Magique grabbed the talented Stas on the saxophone and amazing Anh Le AKA Dirdy Birdy on the pole to add a different twist to the video. With slight Magique Halloween Circus promotion in the video we didn’t want to make it too much of an ad, but more a fun video that friends would share.

starting at 7am, it took all the way till 4pm to get make up, video and the shots we wanted. All the actors did a Great job getting involved and playing the Zombie roles – whom will be also performing on Halloween both on stage and roaming through the hall.

for those who are yet to see the Viral PSY video/song the video has taken the world by storm and broken records for views and likes across the board with PSY quirky dancing, and unique chessy sound

We are wondering if anyone this Halloween will actually dress up as a Zombified PSY? this will be interesting. If you haven’t got your tickets to our Halloween event at Luna Park yet, you can still get $60 tickets but only for a short time. Check out the event page here:

Halloween 2012 | Best Place to Party

For a long time, Halloween in Sydney, Australia has been a non event. Though over the past few years we have seen it grow rapidly. Magique Halloween Circus is now in its 3rd year, and this year we are set to Blow you away.

and of course, the same price. we have and always do aim to keep our entry price at a reasonable level without going up in price, even if we can due to the popularity of this event. Batman Sydney – Promoting Magique

There has been much hype about the new Batman, and I must say … well deserved. Nolan does a great job in the conclusion of the trilogy. With this in mind, I started searching for a Batman costume to give our Mascot Rabbit Magique a short break from promo work. I was lucky to come across a replica suit from a friend – Nick Stone, who was kind enough to lend to us for 2 months (see below)

It’s always hard to choose, and we tend to leave a lot of the voting up to you the fans whom attend our parties. We don’t like the whole, get the most “likes” and you win approach because we all know thats more of a popularity contest as posed to a genuine ‘your costume is awesome’ vote
